When Do Bookings Open? Japan's Hardest Tickets, for Your Dates
Most of Japan's sell-out attractions open bookings on a fixed rule, like "the 10th of the month before" or "two weeks ahead at midnight". Miss that moment and the best slots are gone. Enter your visit date below to see when each one opens, in Japan time and in yours.
We checked each rule against the official sites on 6 November 2026. If a time looks wrong for your date, the official site wins, and please tell us.
This page has no affiliate links in the table. Attraction pages link to booking options, including affiliate ones.
Your dates, every attraction
Three things that catch people out
It's Japan time
Every rule is in Japan time (UTC+9). From the US or Europe, that often means the night before.
"A month before" isn't 30 days
Some sites count calendar months, others count days. The table already handles both.
Rules do change
Each attraction page shows when we last checked. If a time looks wrong, the official site wins.
Missed the moment?
Every attraction page has a "Sold out?" section with options you can still book, such as tours that include a ticket.
