Sanrio Puroland Tickets (2026): Prices, the Visit Reservation, and Where to Buy
Sanrio Puroland is Hello Kitty's indoor theme park in Tama, about 30 minutes from Shinjuku. The catch most visitors miss: you need a ticket (called a passport) and a visit reservation for your date. A ticket on its own won't get you in.
The simplest choice is the official e-Passport: it includes the reservation and can be cancelled until the day before. Klook and KKday are on Puroland's list of sales partners, but read what their tickets include.
Some links on this page are affiliate links. We always show the official way to book first.
Do I need a reservation as well as a ticket?
Yes. Puroland's ticket page says a visit reservation alone won't get you in, and a passport alone won't either. If you arrive without a reservation you can be refused entry, and a passport bought without one is not refunded.
Same-day reservations can be made if spaces are left. The calendar on the official page shows whether reservations are still open for each date.
Which ticket should I buy?
Official e-Passport
Reservation included. Cancellable until the day before your visit. The calendar on the official page shows the price for each date.
Lawson Ticket, FamilyMart
Dated paper tickets that can't be cancelled. The official page doesn't say they include the visit reservation, so make one for your date as well. Seven Ticket (7-Eleven) is listed only for visits from 1 to 31 January 2027.
Ticket counter
Open from 30 minutes before the park opens until 90 minutes before it closes. You still need a visit reservation.
How much does Sanrio Puroland cost?
Prices change with the date of your visit. The starting prices are from the official passport list; the top prices are from the price table on the official calendar, which shows same-day counter prices.
Puroland's own FAQ recommends the official e-Passport as better value than buying at the counter on the day. It does not publish the exact difference.
How to book the official e-Passport
- Open the passport and reservation page and pick your date on the calendar. Each date shows its price and whether reservations are open, almost full or closed. Closed days are marked.
- Choose Day or Afternoon and the number of tickets. Adults are 18–64, children 3–17 and seniors 65+. Children 2 and under don't need a passport.
- Sign in to Sanrio+, enter your details and pay. The official site requires a Sanrio+ account to buy the e-Passport. The e-Passport and the visit reservation come together.
- Keep the e-Passport on your phone. If plans change, cancel by the day before. You'll need mobile data to show the e-Passport at the gate. A Japan eSIM is set up before you fly.Compare Japan eSIMs on Klook ↗
What if…?
…I bought a paper ticket at a convenience store?
Make the visit reservation for your date as well. Paper tickets from convenience stores can't be cancelled.
…my date shows reservations closed?
Try another date. Same-day reservations can be made if spaces are left, so check the calendar on the official page again.
…I bought on Klook or KKday and something is wrong?
Contact the agency. Puroland says problems with tickets from external sellers go to the seller.
…I come with a baby?
Children aged 2 and under enter free. A passport is needed from age 3.
Is Sanrio Puroland worth it?
If you or your children love Sanrio characters, yes. The park is indoors, so it works on rainy or very hot days, and it is built around shows, parades and meeting characters rather than big rides.
If you want thrill rides, it isn't the place: Tokyo Disneyland or Fuji-Q Highland suit that better. Shows and character greetings have their own schedule each day, so check it on the official site before you go.
