Tokyo DisneySea and Fantasy Springs Tickets (2026): Do You Need Anything Extra?
Fantasy Springs is the area of Tokyo DisneySea with rides based on Frozen, Tangled and Peter Pan. Many visitors assume it needs a special ticket. It doesn't: according to the official FAQ, any guest admitted to Tokyo DisneySea can enter.
What you do need to plan is the rides. You either queue, or pay for Disney Premier Access in the app after you enter. The park ticket itself goes on sale two months ahead at 14:00 Japan time.

When do Tokyo DisneySea tickets go on sale?
Tokyo DisneySea follows the same rule as Tokyo Disneyland: online and in the app, each date goes on sale at 14:00 Japan time, two months ahead. The two parks sell separately, so one can be sold out while the other still has tickets.
Booking steps, prices by age and what to do if your card fails are the same for both parks: see the Tokyo Disneyland ticket guide →
Do I need a special ticket for Fantasy Springs?
"Any guest admitted to Tokyo DisneySea can enter Fantasy Springs."
The attractions can be experienced by waiting in line, and Disney Premier Access is sold separately.
So a normal Tokyo DisneySea 1-Day Passport is enough to walk in. If an older guide told you otherwise, go by the official FAQ.
How do I ride Frozen, Rapunzel and Peter Pan without waiting all day?
Queue early
Every ride can be done by queueing, at no extra cost. If you won't pay, go there first and expect long waits at the big three. The app shows current wait times.
Disney Premier Access
You pick a return time for one ride and skip most of the queue. Each park ticket buys one Premier Access at a time, with attractions and shows counted separately. After a purchase, the app shows when you can buy the next one.
Standby Pass
Some venues can only be entered with a free Standby Pass on some days. Check the app on the day.
Why can't I just walk into the Fantasy Springs restaurants?
The Royal Banquet of Arendelle, The Snuggly Duckling and Lookout Cookout take orders only through Disney Mobile Order in the app. You can place an order any time after entering Tokyo DisneySea, so order early rather than waiting until you're hungry.
Is the Fantasy Springs Hotel worth it for early entry?
Guests at Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel can use Happy Entry at Tokyo DisneySea or Tokyo Disneyland, entering before general guests. At other Disney hotels the park depends on the hotel, so check the official Happy Entry page. You still need a 1-Day Passport, it doesn't apply on your check-in day, and some days are excluded.
Our verdict: worth it if you already want to stay at a Disney hotel. If the early entry is the only reason, Premier Access for one or two rides costs far less than the room. Happy Entry rules →

Is Tokyo DisneySea better than Tokyo Disneyland?
If you only have one day and you've been to other Disney parks, DisneySea is the one you can't see anywhere else, and Fantasy Springs adds to that. Disneyland is the classic castle park. Prices are set the same way for both.
Before you go
Buy the DisneySea ticket at 14:00 Japan time two months ahead, link it to the app, and get data for your phone. Fantasy Springs itself needs nothing extra.
