Tokyo Skytree Tickets (2026): Which Deck to Buy, Prices, and Why to Book Online
Tokyo Skytree sells tickets for a date and entry time, and you should buy them online: the counter and ticket machines add ¥500 per ticket. Prices change by date and time, starting at ¥1,800 for the Tembo Deck (Floor 350) and ¥3,000 for both decks.
If you're sure you want to go up to Floor 450, the combo ticket is cheaper than adding it on the day. We read the official pages on 6 November 2026, and the prices and rules below are from them.

Floor 350 or Floor 450: which ticket should I buy?
The Tembo Deck (Floor 350) is the main observation floor. The Tembo Galleria (Floor 450) is a further 100 metres up. You can only reach Floor 450 from Floor 350, so every ticket includes the Tembo Deck.
Tembo Deck ticket (Floor 350)
From ¥1,800. Enough for the view, and you can still decide on Floor 450 once you're up there, if add-on sales haven't been paused.
Combo ticket (Floor 350 + 450)
From ¥3,000. Cheaper than ¥1,800 + ¥1,400 bought separately, and you don't risk the add-on being suspended on a busy day.
Morning or night tickets
The official site sells a Morning View Ticket with a drink and food (adults from ¥2,500) and a Night Viewing Ticket with one alcoholic drink (adults from ¥2,400).
How far in advance should I book Tokyo Skytree?
The official pages don't say how many days ahead dated tickets go on sale. Check the official ticket site for your date; the free-cancellation rule runs until 31 days before entry.
The official FAQ says about 16:00–19:00 is the most crowded time, and that from opening until about 15:00 is calmer. On 6 November 2026, sunset in Tokyo was at 16:41 according to the Skytree site.

Cancellation page (official ticket site LINKTIVITY): 0% until 31 days before, 20% from 30 days before until entry, 100% after the entry time. Free within 59 minutes of buying.
Official site or Klook: where is it cheaper?
The official site (on LINKTIVITY) and Seven-Eleven multi-copy machines both avoid the ¥500 counter fee, and both let you cancel for free until 31 days ahead. That makes the official site the default.

Can I change my time, or come late?
I want a different date or time.
Dates and times can't be changed. Cancel and buy again; within 30 days of your visit that costs 20%.
I'll be late for my slot.
On the same day you can still go in, from the end of the queue. If a train delay made you late, speak to staff.
One person in my group can't come.
Ask at the 4F ticket counter: they refund the difference minus ¥300 per ticket.
Is there a time limit once I'm up?
No fixed limit, though staff may guide people on when it's crowded.
Is Tokyo Skytree worth it? Can you see Mount Fuji?
Floor 450 is the highest of the five Tokyo decks we compare, and the view stretches over the Sumida River and Asakusa below. The official FAQ says Mount Fuji can be seen, most often in the cold, clear months and early in the morning.
The honest downside: from Skytree you can't see Skytree. If you want the tower in your photo, a viewpoint in central Tokyo may suit you better. Compare Tokyo's observation decks →
