teamLab Borderless Tickets (2026): Prices, Same-Day Tickets, and Klook vs Official

teamLab Borderless has been at Azabudai Hills since February 2024, and tickets are for a set date and entry time. The official page names two official sellers: its own ticket website and Klook. If your date isn't sold out, you can still buy on the day.

Buy on the official site if you might need to change the date; it allows up to three changes. Klook is the official alternative if you'd rather pay there. We read the official pages on 6 November 2026, and the prices and rules below come from them.

How far ahead should I book teamLab Borderless?

The official page doesn't say how many days ahead tickets go on sale. What it does say: tickets are for a date and time and may sell out, and same-day tickets are sold online if any are left.

So unlike teamLab Planets, a late booking can still work if your slot isn't sold out. Tickets can sell out, so book once your dates are fixed.

¥200 more than online, and only while tickets last. Fine as a backup, not a plan.

How to book on the official website

Open the official ticket website and switch the language to English if it isn't already.
Choose Entrance Pass or Flexible Pass. The Entrance Pass has an entry time. The Flexible Pass (¥12,000) lets you come any time that day.
Pick the date and entry time, then the number of tickets for each age. Visitors with a 13–17 ticket may be asked for a student ID at the entrance.
Pay and keep the ticket on your phone. To change the date later, use "Modify Ticket Date" on the purchased ticket.
Your ticket, maps and the underground walk from the station all need data. A Japan eSIM is the easy fix.

Can I change the date or cancel?

I need a different day.

Official-site tickets can change date up to 3 times. You can't change to a different ticket type, to a sold-out slot, or to a date not yet on sale.

Only one person in my order can't come.

You can't change only some tickets in one order or split them across times. Plan group orders carefully.

I want a refund.

In general there are none. For Klook or other sites, their own terms apply.

Things to know before you go

Some rooms have mirrored floors. If you wear a skirt, you can borrow a wrap skirt near the artwork.
Free lockers are available.
Photos and videos are allowed, but no selfie sticks or tripods of 30 cm or more, no flash and no lights.
EN TEA HOUSE inside asks you to order at least one drink per person.
Pregnant visitors can't enter some areas.
Last entry is one hour before closing, and closing time varies by day.

Borderless or Planets: which one?

Borderless calls itself "a museum without a map": there is no map or set route, and you wander from room to room. Planets is walked barefoot, partly in knee-deep water.

Borderless (Azabudai)

No map, free route. Adults ¥3,400. Same-day tickets if not sold out.

Planets (Toyosu)

Barefoot, water rooms. Adults ¥3,800. No tickets at the door. Until the end of 2027.

Getting to teamLab Borderless

Kamiyacho (Hibiya Line)

Exit 5, 2 minutes on foot

Roppongi-itchome (Namboku Line)

Exit 4, 6 minutes on foot

From Haneda

Keikyu Line, change to the Hibiya Line at Higashi-Ginza: about 40 minutes

From Narita

Keisei Line, change to the Hibiya Line at Ueno: 70–90 minutes

Both stations connect to the museum by an underground passage, so you can follow the signs without going outside. The address is Azabudai Hills Garden Plaza B, B1. There is no museum car park.

Kamiyacho is also Tokyo Tower's station (7 minutes from Exit 1). Borderless in the afternoon, the tower at dusk.

Unlimited Tokyo Metro and Toei subway rides for 24–72 hours. Kamiyacho is on the Hibiya Line.

Before you book

Fix your date, then book on the official website, or on Klook if you prefer. Check you chose Borderless (Azabudai), not Planets (Toyosu): they are separate venues with separate tickets.
