Abeno Harukas 300 Tickets (2026): Same-Day ¥2,200 or Advance Online, Hours, and Edge The Harukas

You want the highest view in Osaka from Harukas 300 at Tennoji, and you're deciding between buying at the counter or online. Both work, but on busy days the counter may switch to numbered tickets.

The short answer: same-day tickets are ¥2,200 for adults, sold on the day at the 16th-floor counter, or as a same-day e-ticket on the official web store. On busy days, buying online ahead means you don't depend on same-day sales or numbered tickets. Buy from the official web store or an agency like Klook.

Visiting on a busy day? Buy ahead. Harukas 300's own site lists Klook among the agencies for visitors buying from abroad.

Official web ticket store: ¥1,980 adults, ¥810 children, bought at least a day ahead. Agencies such as Klook also sell them.
Re-entry
Not with a same-day ticket. A 1-day ticket allows re-entry (counter only).
Refunds
Same-day tickets from the counter can't be refunded or reissued. Official web store tickets: full refund if cancelled before they expire.

Should you buy at the counter or online?

The counter on the 16th floor sells same-day tickets only, and the official web store also sells a same-day e-ticket at the same ¥2,200 / ¥900. If you know your day, buying in advance online means you don't need a same-day ticket. It is also cheaper: the official web store sells advance tickets at ¥1,980 for adults and ¥810 for children, against ¥2,200 and ¥900 on the day. An advance ticket can't be bought for the same day.

What we could check on Nov 7, 2026

Checked on Nov 7, 2026

The official ticket page lists same-day prices (adult 15+ ¥2,200, child 6–14 ¥900, 5 and under free), says same-day tickets are sold at the 16F counter, and names the official web store plus agencies including Klook for buyers outside Japan.

The same page says same-day tickets allow no re-entry and can't be refunded; a 1-day ticket allows re-entry but can't be bought in advance; advance tickets can be upgraded to it at the counter by paying the difference.

The official observatory page shows 9:00–22:00, open all year, and links a notice about special hours on Oct 17, 2026 (the Naniwa Yodogawa Fireworks Festival day, now past).

The official web ticket store lists the advance ticket at ¥1,980 (adult 15+) and ¥810 (child 6–14), not for same-day entry, valid for 30 days from the day after the booking date, fully refundable if cancelled before it expires, entered by scanning the original e-ticket QR code at the 16F gate (no screenshots). It also sells a same-day e-ticket at ¥2,200 / ¥900, bought and used on the day of entry.

How to visit, step by step

  1. Get to Abeno Harukas at Tennoji. The building stands directly above Kintetsu Osaka-Abenobashi Station.
  2. Go to the 16th floor. The observatory's ticket counter and entrance gate are on the 16th floor.
  3. Buy a ticket or use your e-ticket. Official web tickets: go straight to the 16F entrance gate and scan the QR code on the original e-ticket screen. Advance tickets bought elsewhere are exchanged at the 16F counter.
You'll need data for the QR code and for maps around Tennoji. A Japan eSIM is the simplest fix.

  4. Go up to the 60th-floor deck. The 60th floor is a glass-enclosed 360° deck; the 58th floor is an open-air plaza.

Is Edge The Harukas worth it?

Where people get stuck

I want to come back for the night view

A same-day ticket allows no re-entry. Buy the 1-day ticket at the counter, or upgrade an advance ticket there by paying the difference. The 1-day ticket is not sold in advance.

The counter is giving out numbered tickets

That happens on busy days, and only numbered-ticket holders can buy once the limit is reached. An advance ticket avoids it.

Last entry is 30 minutes before closing, so with a 22:00 close you're too late.

Harukas 300 or Umeda Sky Building?

Highest

Abeno Harukas 300

¥2,200 same-day, 9:00–22:00, glass deck plus open-air plaza at Tennoji.

Open-air

Umeda Sky Building

¥2,000, 9:30–22:30, rooftop with no glass next to Osaka Station. Free with an Osaka Amazing Pass before 15:00.

Our verdict: stay in the south (Namba, Tennoji) or want the highest view, pick Harukas. Staying near Umeda or using an Amazing Pass by day, pick Umeda Sky.
