Universal Studios Japan Tickets (2026): Official Store or Klook, Prices, and Super Nintendo World Entry
You've picked a USJ day and want to know where to buy the ticket and how much it will cost. The answer: buy a dated 1-Day Studio Pass as early as you can, from the official store or an agency. Prices are set per day and can go up after release.
The ticket gets you into the park, but not necessarily into Super Nintendo World. Depending on the day, that area needs its own timed entry, so plan for it before you go.

Where should you buy USJ tickets: official site or Klook?
Both sell the same dated Studio Pass. The official store is the default, and you know you're paying the park's price. Agencies are another option when the official store's waiting room is long or your card is refused.
Official online store
The park's own price for your date. It can put you in a waiting room first. USJ's Japanese ticket guide lists Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club and Discover, in one payment.
Klook / KKday e-ticket
An English site and app. Compare its price with the official one for your date, and read the product's conditions, before you buy.
Affiliate linksHow do USJ ticket prices work in 2026?
Every day has its own price, set by expected demand. On June 30, 2026 USJ announced a change for visits from Sep 1, 2026 (on sale from Jul 1): after a day goes on sale, USJ may review its price again in line with demand. Child and senior prices move the same way. On Nov 7, 2026 the lowest adult 1-Day price on USJ's ticket page was ¥8,400.
What that means for you: once your date is fixed, buy. USJ's FAQ on the change recommends buying early because prices can be raised, and says a ticket you already bought needs no top-up if the price goes up afterwards.
How to buy on the official store
- Open the official ticket page and choose Studio Pass. The English site is usj.co.jp/web/en/us. The store may send you to a waiting room first: keep that tab open.
- Pick your date. Each day has its own price, so check the price for your date before you go on.
- Choose adult, child or senior tickets, then add an Express Pass if you want one. Follow the on-screen steps.
- Pay and save the e-ticket. The QR code ticket appears right after you pay. Save or print the whole ticket screen, not just the QR code, and keep one per person: that is what USJ's ticket guide asks for. You'll need data in the park to book Super Nintendo World entry in the app. A Japan eSIM is the easiest fix.Compare Japan eSIMs on Klook ↗
What we could check on Nov 7, 2026
USJ's ticket page listed adult 1-Day from ¥8,400 (child ¥5,500, senior ¥7,600), the 1.5-Day pass (day 1 from 15:00), the 2-Day pass and the Twilight pass (from 15:00).
USJ's news of June 30, 2026 says that for visits from Sep 1, 2026 a day's price may be adjusted after release, that tickets already bought need no top-up, and that tickets can't be cancelled after purchase.
USJ's ticket guide says official-store Studio Passes can be moved to another date once online, up to 90 days after the original date, and that Express Passes can't be changed.
USJ's timed entry page says Super Nintendo World area tickets come only from the official app, and only inside the park. The official store (store.usj.co.jp) sent us to a Queue-it waiting room, so we have not seen its checkout screens.
Does a USJ ticket get you into Super Nintendo World?
Not automatically. On busy days you need a free Area Timed Entry Ticket for Super Nintendo World. Since Jan 5, 2026 these come only from the official app, and only once your ticket has been scanned at the park gate. Once the set number of timed tickets has been issued, the app moves on to lottery tickets. Each party can get one area ticket or lottery ticket per day. The other way in is a guaranteed area entry bought ahead, with certain Express Passes or through select travel agencies. On some days no ticket is needed at all.
If Mario Kart or Donkey Kong Country is the reason you're going, decide before you buy: either plan to grab the timed entry the moment you're through the gate, or buy an Express Pass that includes guaranteed area entry.
Where people get stuck
The official store keeps me in a queue
That's the waiting room, not an error. Keep the tab open until your turn comes. If it's taking too long, an agency ticket for the same date is another option.
USJ tickets on Klook ↗My card is refused
Turn on online or overseas payments in your bank's app and try again straight away. If it still fails, try another card. USJ's Japanese guide lists Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club and Discover, and asks you not to use virtual cards.
I want to change my date
A Studio Pass from the official store can be moved to another date once online (from your Club Universal account), up to the 90th day after the original date. You pay the difference if the new date costs more, and a fee may apply. Cancellations aren't accepted, and Express Passes can't be changed. For agency tickets, read the agency's conditions before paying.
Getting there
The park is by Universal City Station on the JR Yumesaki Line. USJ's access page puts it at about 11 minutes from Osaka Station, changing at Nishikujo, or with no change on a through train from the Loop Line. An ICOCA or other IC card works. ICOCA for visitors →
